I love food, I love dining al fresco and this year, I am particularly thankful we have plenty of outdoor dining in Downtown West Palm Beach.

COVID transformed Downtown West Palm Beach into a tent city in a good way, so if outdoor dining is what you’re looking for, Downtown West Palm Beach is the place to be! The weather is perfect, the food is delicious and our city looks better than ever.

10 Great Spots for Outdoor Dining in Downtown West Palm Beach

Avocado Grill
You’ll get an instant vacation vibe at Avocado Grill with chic tropical decor and options for tent or patio dining. A small plate menu inspired by the sun and the sea and avocados too! My favorites? Grilled Fish Taco, Vegan Taco (trust me, even non-vegans love it), Curried Cauliflower, Nutella Avocado Mousse.

Bradley’s
A giant tiki hut, a lawn dotted with picnic tables and games…this is the laid back place to relax on the waterfront, enjoy a cocktail and listen to live music.

Elisabetta’s
Elisabetta’s just opened on the West Palm Beach waterfront at Banyan Street, and one word…WOWZA! You’ll love the view, the huge covered patio and the food. Everything and I mean everything is house made…the pasta, the bread, the pizza dough. My favorites? Keep in mind they just opened, so I’ve only been once, but I can’t stop dreaming about their Cheese Board with Tartufo Cheese…it’s a mild cheese with truffles that I put on their amazing sourdough bread with a drizzle of spicy honey. Hungry yet?

Fern Street Wine Bar & Kitchen
Off-the-beaten tourist track, you’ll find Fern Street Wine Bar & Kitchen with a colorful mural filled patio. A ranch-to-table restaurant featuring local produce and meats from their local ranch. If you’re looking for a quiet dinner or a not-to-crazy brunch, this is your spot!

Hullabaloo
Located in the 500 block of Clematis, this is the place to be for outdoor dining on weekends. The entire street is closed, and restaurants set-up tables all along the street. Added bonus…Hullabaloo has a colorful back patio with their Airstream Trailer dining room. My favorites? Brussels Sprouts, Beet Salad, Hullabaloo Burger (my husband’s favorite), Gnocchi and any of their Craft Cocktails.

Kapow
Also located in the 500 block of Clematis, so ditto for everything I said about Hullabaloo and outdoor dining. Kapow is a modern Asian fusion restaurant, and your mouth will say Kapow, WOW! My favorites? Blueberry Lavender Mojito, General Tso’s Cauliflower, Mushroom Bao Bun, Potsticker and Thai Donuts. Trust me, save room for those Thai Donuts.

Pistache
Your choice…a covered patio or a tent filled with plants, romantic little white lights, beautiful tables and fans (or heaters for those rare nights when we dip below 70 degrees). Wherever you choose to dine, you’ll be overlooking our beautiful waterfront park. My favorites at this French bistro? Truly a menu where you can’t go wrong!

Rocco’s Tacos
Always a buzzy place on Clematis and now they’ve got a great big tent for your socially distanced dining. My favorites? A trip to Rocco’s is not complete without a Mango Margarita and Guacamole with Chips.

Spruzzo
Rooftop bar? This is it! You’ll step off the glass elevator at The Ben Hotel and into Spruzzo. One look, one taste and you’ll never want to leave West Palm Beach. You’ll impress your friends and family when you take them here for a drink.

The Blind Monk
If there was an award for the most beautiful tent in Downtown West Palm Beach, The Blind Monk is my winner! They’ve transformed their tent into an enchanting wine garden, and their quiet off-the-beaten path location makes this a great place to enjoy a glass of wine, delicious small plates and a conversation. My favorites? Pan con tomate, strawberry bruschetta, charred cauliflower and twice cooked eggplant.

Treehouse
A magical oasis perched atop the Canopy Hotel boasting the highest rooftop bar in town. Need I say more?
