Goombay Smash Recipe
Looking for a tropical cocktail that will make you feel like you’re on vacation? This Goombay Smash Recipe is a favorite in the Caribbean and South Florida, but beware…it’s stronger than it tastes.
Goombay Smash is a cocktail that originated in the Bahamas, but it’s become quite popular in South Florida where many Bahamians live. This is the signature cocktail of our annual neighborhood block party, and thanks to my neighbor Jeanne for sharing her recipe.
Goombay Smash Recipe
25 oz. White Rum
8 oz. Coconut Rum
46 oz. Pineapple Juice
23 oz. Apricot Nectar
16 oz. Orange Juice
3 oz. Cranberry Juice
Mix, chill and serve over crushed ice or freeze in zip top bags for a frosty Goombay Slush!
Now, kick-back, relax and pretend you’re on vacation in sunny West Palm Beach.
Note: This Goombay Smash Recipe makes a big batch, so it’s ideal for parties.
