Iced Margherita

Here in sunny South Florida, we’re known for our world-class beaches, museums and golf courses. But in addition to our famous attractions, we’re also known for our endless nightlife. Our list focuses on bars within 5 minutes of downtown West Palm Beach and includes breweries, a speakeasy, a wine bar and live music venues. Cheers to the best West Palm Beach bars.

500 Block of Clematis Street

While not a bar itself, this artsy/hipster block is frequented by West Palm Beach locals and is a great block for barhopping. Stake your claim on a stool at just one of the bars here or enjoy a drink at each one.

Best West Palm Beach Speakeasy:

This speakeasy is spearheaded by an award-winning mixologist and is the epitome of cool. Just tell him which liquors and mixers you love most, and he’ll craft the perfectly balanced beverage. Pick your poison and let him work his magic!

E.R. Bradley’s Saloon

Bradley’s is known for its outdoor seating, water views and live music. This is the spot to head to if you’re looking for an upbeat nighttime crowd or a laid-back daytime lunch or brunch. The outdoor section is decorated like a Tiki bar, so you’ll feel like you’re on vacation.

Best West Palm Beach Bar – Sophisticated:

This John F. Kennedy-themed bar is full of the late president’s memorabilia and attracts an upscale crowd. You might even forget that you’re not on Cape Cod with their New England-style seafood.  This semi-private bar offers wine, cocktails and beer.

Best Palm Beach Bar:
The HMF and Seafood Bar at the Breakers

If you’re feeling fancy, cross the bridge to Palm Beach to experience the glamour of The Breakers Hotel. There are not one — but two — bars here with their own unique vibes.

  • HMFstands for Henry Morrison Flagler who built The Breakers. It has a Great Gatsby vibe.
  • Seafood Bar where the bar itself is an aquarium that looks out over the impossibly blue Atlantic Ocean. As the name suggests, it’s known for seafood.
